Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for leading us to launch the "Do-This" Million-Hour All Nations Prayer Movement on 31 March 2001 at the Hong Kong Coliseum. We were greatly encouraged by the presence and support of leaders from different realms of the society, pastors from various denominations and intercessors as they all witnessed the moments when the citizens of the Lord responded with "Amen" to God.

The "Do-This" Million-Hour All Nations Prayer Movement will continue in accordance with different phases until 60 million Christians are recruited. In addition to praying daily, participants from around the world will also pray to the Heavenly Father within a designated minute. The first phase of the prayer campaign was completed at the end of November in 2002, lasting a 20-month period. We give thanks to God for your fervent participation. May God bless you and answer your prayer. The current phase has recruited a total of 1,760 units. There are 82 churches, small groups and organizations, along with eight schools that have joined the campaign. There are churches from Hong Kong, United Kingdom, United States, Taiwan, mainland China, northern Thailand, Kyrgyzstan... There are also missionaries who have brought the prayer campaign with them when they travel to other countries. They have many testimonies of thanksgiving. Our focus of prayer is to proclaim the word of God through the "Pause and Think" campaign of the "My Passion for Life" series. We have personally witnessed His amazing work, whether in our government, public and private-run organizations and professionals with a variety of expertise, all immediately responded and participated in this work of God. Until today, the five television stations have started to broadcast "Pause and Think" campaign of the "My Passion for Life" series for a nine-month period, and would continue to do so. The advertisement plans provided by the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) lasted for four weeks, consisting of 910 light boxes and advertisement screens at different locations, station platform light boxes, electronic screens inside the train car, television hours in both the New World First Bus and Citybus, television screen at Times Square. All these were provided free of charge. The participating organizations felt this was something they should take part, for it was a wonderful thing to do. If the Gentiles take part, believers should respond with greater enthusiasm. May God use you and grant you a heart to keep watch for the city. Let us start with prayer and praise, and join this "Rebuilding the City" campaign and take up the commission. During this "Rebuilding the City" campaign, we began with prayers for the 12 professions, and published 12 prayer handbooks to help brothers and sisters keep watch for these professions. It is our hope to continue praying for other professions as well. May the Lord our God rebuild our city.
