Over the years, we have published various prayer handbooks to fit the different situations, such as preventing crises, viruses and other threats. Over 1.4 million copies have been distributed. Up until April 2006, we have published the 100th prayer handbook. The spiritual and prayer lives of many brothers and sisters have experienced growth through participation in the prayer net and the use of prayer handbooks. During a prayer camp for the ladies in April 2005, God gave us the vision of "Extend the Kingdom of God". Participants were divided into two to three per group and they became "powerful warriors". They prayed everyday to extend the Kingdom of God. Jireh Fund also sent out different prayers everyday at the time. This went on for a year and looking back, the past year was actually a period of preparation for extension.
In fact, even back in 1998, God has already laid on our hearts that there will be a prayer net in the future. At that time we felt it was only wishful thinking. On 22 March 2006, we felt that we could start developing the prayer net. At first we needed to recruit 300 "powerful warriors". These 300 powerful warriors must have a prayerful heart, embracing a spirit to extend the Kingdom of God. They should also pay attention to the development of the "Extend the Kingdom of God", helping brothers and sisters by praying for them so that their prayer lives can be built up. Also, each powerful warrior will find another two powerful warriors, encouraging one another to pray for 30 minutes each day. They can use the prayers supplied by Jireh Fund. They can demonstrate their care through calling and praying for one another once a week. These two powerful warriors will then find another two prayer warriors, and so on. Brothers and sisters may come to experience the strength that arises from supporting one another as they accept and demonstrate care for others. In this way, "Extend the Kingdom of God" can truly begin.
Being such a great prayer movement, why not start carrying out in the mainland? Apparently the word "movement" is very sensitive in the mainland. We prayed and asked the Lord to give us a more appropriate word. Thank God for giving us the word to replace "movement". "Prayer movement" has therefore been renamed as "prayer net". May God move your heart and join us to become prayer warriors. A prayer net is formed to cover various levels and one that intercedes for our city and the nation.
